It's Time to Announce the Lineup for SFSFF 2013!

Safety Last!
July 18 - 21 at the Castro Theatre

Silent films with brilliant live music in a magnificent movie palace - it's the best four days of the year! The 2013 festival features films from nine countries, and musicians from around the world and across the country. From the incandescent
Louise Brooks, to the Legong dancers of Bali, to the Kings of (Silent) Comedy
to the intense beauty of Weimar Cinema, to the lyricism of Yasujiro Ozu
to Harold Lloyd hanging from the hand of a clock high above a city street - each of the seventeen programs delivers its own distinct version of the wonder of silent film. And with accompaniment by Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra, Stephen Horne, Matti Bye Ensemble, Günter Buchwald, and Clubfoot Orchestra with Gamelan Sekar Jaya, each program promises to be a revelation, whether you've seen the film a dozen times or never before.
